I am Sam. Born in Bangladesh and raised in Oman, I came to study in Canada, and soon it became my home. I went through the refugee process on my path to becoming a citizen.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and a Juris Doctor, both from the University of Victoria, and articled at a top national corporate-commercial litigation firm in downtown Vancouver.
I am a litigator representing clients at various levels of B.C. courts in civil, criminal, and administrative tribunal matters.
In civil litigation practice, I represent clients in matters of contractual disputes, insurance claims, tortious liability, human rights, immigration, residential tenancy, and labour and employment issues.
Criminal practice includes representing clients charged with assault, theft under, and motor vehicle offences.
To me, practicing law is not just about resolving legal issues: it’s about advocating for people when they need it most. No matter the type of case or issue, the stakes are deeply personal and often life-changing.
That’s why my approach is rooted in empathy, clear communication, and a relentless commitment to results. I work closely with my clients to understand not just the legal facts, but the broader context — who they are, what they’re facing, and what they hope to achieve.
I don’t make promises I can’t keep, but I do promise to work tirelessly, advocate fiercely, and keep my clients informed every step of the way.
